What is Event Intelligence?

Event intelligence is the practice of turning continuous, noisy public signals — news, forums, code, funding, product launches — into a structured stream of evidence-backed events that a person or system can reason about and act on.

Signals vs. events

A signal is a raw observation — an RSS item, a Reddit thread, a GitHub release. An event is what happens when many signals about the same underlying thing are clustered, deduplicated, and enriched with context: what happened, who was involved, when, and how confident we are that it is real. Events are what humans and downstream systems should consume — signals alone are noise.
